You can expect a swift, 90-day journey through the “default is not in our stars” State Theatre bankruptcy.

According to federal court documents filed March 1, 2024 in the State’s Chapter 7 action, the initial “meeting of creditors” (a Zoom call) is set for April 9, 2024.

While the attorney representing the State Theatre “must attend the meeting to be questioned under oath”, creditors “may attend, but are not required to do so”.

In addition, the filing (shown below) concedes “no property appears to be available to pay creditors.”
